Miniature Rex Breed Information
Mini rex rabbits are known as the "velveteen" rabbit because one of the most appealing features of the rex breeds is their coat. It is like no other rabbit coat it has a beautiful velvet feel to it and is a pleasure to touch.
They are known for their fur quality, which is short & plush. This is because the longest guard hairs have been bred away and the secondary guard hairs have been reduced to the same length as the undercoat hairs. Mini Rex come in many different coat colors, so your sure to find a colour to your liking.
The mini rex have a lovely temperament, they have great personalities, make great family pets and they are a very laid back rabbit. I find that the mini rex breed is very affectionate and loving towards their owner.
